Have you ever seen a child's smooth cool finger paint over a sheet of paper with both hands, pulling her fingertips through the paint to make squiggles? Or observed a child colouring in bountiful spirals with crayons? If yes, then you have seen the concentration on these children's faces, and the joyful expressions of art explored. You have witnessed creative art in process!

In 2005 Bloomberg Businessweek published the article “Get Creative – How to build innovative companies”, stating that the Knowledge Economy, as we know it, is coming to an end and being replaced by “The Creativity Economy”:

 

What was once essential to corporations – price, quality and much of the left-brain’s digitised and analytical work associated with knowledge is increasingly replaced by competence in creativity – the right-brain. The game has changed; it is not just about math and science anymore. It is about creativity, imagination and, above all, innovation.
