Recipe home made playdough:
2 cups cold water
2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
2 Tbsp oil
2 Tbsp Cream of tartar
Food colour, paint or scented oils can be added.
Add all ingredients in a pot and heat it on the stove, stir with a wooden spoon until it turns into one ball, knead thoroughly till smooth.

Let them choose an animal, which is pre-printed and laminated. They need to trace the animal on the laminated sheet with a black marker/felt pen (not a permanent marker!). This the children will now print on a separate paper. Over the printed lines on the paper the children will "stick" their finely rolled playdough sausages. It will dry beautifully with a slighty salty/crusty texture (if you use homemade playdough)
Be careful though in very humid areas/months as the playdough will only dry with difficulties!
