Giant Mural -
Great for teamwork and teamspirit

Step 1: Discuss shapes. Step 2: Add as many shapes on your paper. BUT they are not allowed to touch! Step 3: Add lines between the shapes, every shape needs to be connected with a shape next to it.

Step 4: Fill in the gaps with coloured paint. Step 5: No two gaps are allowed to be the same colour. Tip: One child per colour - no swapping, they are responsible for "their" colouring.

Make sure the drawn shapes look like the chosen shape, so be careful with tricky shapes, e.g. stars (first make sure that everyone in that group can actually draw them!) No touching of shapes at this point. Smaller shapes can be drawn into bigger ones.

Connect the shapes with lines. Lines can be straight, swirly, zigzag..

One colour per child throughout the entire colouring process.

They look absolutely amazing and make a fabulous Maths & Art lesson on shapes!
