"I am" -  Poem

 

I am artistic and curious

I wonder why so many people underestimate children

I hear what children tell me

I see their capabilities

I want to inspire them

I am INTERESTED

 

I pretend in museums that I can climb into paintings and have adventures

I feel excited

I touch the materials and texture (in my imagination only)

I worry that the alarm would go off

I cry if art touches my soul

I am PASSIONATE

 

I undertand that I cannot climb into paintings!

I say encouraging words 

I dream of art education in elementary schools

I try to share my love for art

I hope to instill a life long love for art within my students

I am an ART TEACHER
